2023-04-19 03:01:20 +0000 UTCDash Rendar is a main character from the Shadows of the Empire Novel/video game. He has a co-pilot droid named Leebo. (LE-BO2D9) They fly his YT-2400 light freighter, named the Outrider. Dash is a smuggler like Han Solo, and kind of a rival.

2023-04-18 20:23:04 +0000 UTCI think, even though we don't focus much on him, it is a nice thing we have commander Sato in Rebels: more of a military man than most rebels we see on screen, it is a reminder that the Rebelion, once it grew a bit, it became a military organisation, and having some level of discipline and military leadership is necessary when fighting a war. Commander Sato provides us with an example of that, while showing us the contrast between imperial and rebel military officers.

2023-04-18 14:30:09 +0000 UTCSeeing that YT-2400 light freighter (Iron Squadron's ship) still makes me wish it had been Dash Rendar and not some ranom group of kids. Would have been a nice camio. Decent episode though.

2023-04-18 07:48:06 +0000 UTCThis is a decent episode, one of my least favorites of the season, but I don’t hate it. I really like the recurring Gag about Mart not knowing what a Star Destroyer is. He got so excited at the Gazanti Transport and the Light Cruiser, but when an actual Star Destroyer shows up he is kinda shook😅. Some facts and details: 1. Solo came out after this episode did, but timeline wise Solo takes place about a Decade before Rebels. Ezra is a week older than Luke and Leia, and Han is 10 years older than them. 2. If you go back and look at the bottom of Thrawn’s Star Destroyer near the end of the Episode, you’ll see an illustration of a serpent on the bottom. Normal ISDs don’t have that🤔! 3. I believe Mart was throwing those cargo crates at the Imperial ships because they had some explosives in them, I could be wrong though. He was acting like his Freighter was an improvised bomber after all.
