The taking prisoners line was a riot. 🀣

This one was pretty fun! Seeing Leia is great, and I love that her and Ezra got to meet and bond a little. I think Ezra is about 1 week older than Luke and Leia. It was fun seeing how the Rebels get a lot of their ships, from Alderan setting them up to get stolen. I love the line from the Stormtroopers about β€œThey take Prisoners now?” That is so funny! We’ve met Lieutenant Lyst before, he is around occasionally as a lower ranking officer that the Ghost Crew mess with, similar to those other 2 guys that Tarkin had the Grand Inquisitor execute in season 1.

Totally agree. We love Alderaan.

I love how the empire reacts to Alderaan. Ugh another group of do-gooders trying to help people. It goes all the way back to the first chronological episode of Clone Wars where Obi and Anakin are trying to help them get supplies to the surface of the planet. Bail has always been about helping people in need and it's great to see Leia following in his footsteps.

Same!

I keep forgetting that Ezra is the same age as them. 🀣 You're right, Leia doesn't seem to have had a long childhood. That detail on Chopper is cool! I def didn't notice but might pull that scene up again!

I love Ezra and Leia, they are so cute. Ezra and Luke/Leia are all the same age and it's interesting to see how mature Leia has had to be in her life. You'd almost think it would have been different, that Ezra based on what he had to endure being alone growing up and in lots of battles and danger, but he still manages to be goofy and have sort of a child-like essence to him that Leia has been denied the ability to have almost. I noticed a little inconsequential detail this time watching this, but when Chopper is trying to get the lock off the last ship and Ryder is inside, there's a shot of Chopper and the light on the side of his head that's like a vertical thermometer shape changes colors in a descending way that made me think it was like a drop of sweat since he was trying so hard to get the lock off before Ryder just blasted away. I don't know if they meant for that animation to read that way or not. I'm trying to not binge and watch ahead so I'm very excited for Tuesday. I like the next episode-- well I like 98% of the episodes-- and I think you'll enjoy it a lot.

This episode shows a very Andor-esque side of the rebellion, of course, in a lighter tone than Andor, but it was the "Rebelling from the inside, while keeping your cover inside the organization". I find it so interesting to see that Leia is so involved even at this stage of the rebellion.

I appreciate that too! It's nice to see. Glad you enjoyed it!

Everyone : Ezra, i heard your message to the Galaxy, it inspired me. Ezra : I send a message that motivated my parents to rebel in prison and got them killed before i could see them again. :( I like they are taking the time to let the character process what happened over a few episodes, it is a very sad story. Fun way to use Leia in this show. Bail is very smart and outplayed the Empire for so long. No wonder Tarkin was so happy to blow the planet at the first chance. Thanks for the reaction, see ya on the next one.
