Cant wait for all the non-Phase Shows. Agent Carter and AoS are great to watch and are a nice break from the MCU in some form.

I also forgot how fun it is to watch Peggy outplay her misogynistic colleagues. 😆 As someone else already mentioned, we know Dr. Vanko from Iron Man 2, he helped develop the Arc Reactor together with Howard Stark. He died in the opening scene of Iron Man 2. His son is Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke), the main bad guy in that movie. Good catch that you've seen this butler Jarvis before in Endgame (same actor)! One of the very rare moments where the movies reference the Non-Phase TV shows directly, instead of the other way around. The actor who plays Agent Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) is awesome. He played a large role in the show Dollhouse and his acting in that was brilliant. His name is hilariously unintuitive to pronounce, pronounced as En-Vair (rhymes with "where") Joke-Eye, with the emphasis on the last syllable of each name.

2023-09-04 23:42:08 +0000 UTCWell dangit, I was so ready for Colleen to be a recurring character. Didn't expect it to go like this, especially not right in the first episode. Dr. Vanko I'm pretty sure was the dad of the villain in Iron Man 2. That movie showed that Vanko was once a partner of Howard Stark's, but (according to their version of events, and Howard's version wasn't shown in that movie) Howard eventually screwed him over so hard that he got deported, leaving him and his son with a burning hatred for Tony. Seems like that hasn't happened yet. I wonder if it might be shown in this show. I have no idea myself so I hope I can speculate without it being a spoiler. I'll obviously avoid pointing out connections to stuff you HAVEN'T seen yet, should there be any. All in all this was an entertaining episode and I am definitely intrigued!
