Thanks for watching! Great catch on that detail about the Death Watch symbol!!

Great finale! First loosing Kuill and now IG-11 is very sad, as the two had a strong bond with eachother. When Droids have a mission, they really would do anything to complete it. I think this was a bit of a spin on the same theme as G0-T0 from Kotor-2: it took over a criminal sindicate and worked against the Republic because it calculated it was the best way to help the Republic survive. Also Din's mistrust of droids is a flaw, but an understandable one, as in the flash-backs we see it was the separatist droids who attacked his village and probably killed his parents. Him trusting and caring for IG-11 is quite the character growth for him. And a small detail I missed till this watch, but I find very cool. The mandalorians in the flash-back have the Death-Watch symbol on their shoulders. It kind of makes sense, as during most of the Clone Wars, Death Watch was the main Mandalorian warrior group. I am curious about wether this was before or after Maul took over Death Watch, not that it matters, just a thought.

It’s been such a blast follow you through season 1, especially in such a rapid fashion. Been looking forward to “the daily mando“ reaction this last week 😂 So glad you’ve enjoyed it so far (not that I doubted that) and I’m hyped for S2 ☺️

Thanks for the info and for watching! 😊

I forgot to actually send the message on the last episode but the Imperial Troop transport that rolled up in the last episode with Gideon's "cleaner" Stormtroopers was originally a Kenner toy Imperial Trooper Transport that released back in 1979. It never appeared in any of the films but was used in Star Wars Rebels and then later Mandalorian in live action. Also love the contrast between The Client's Stormtroopers and Moff Gideons. Even though the Client "Works" for Gideon he's more on his own trying to hold onto land with limited supplies similar to confederate holdouts and factions after the end of the American Civil War. In the concept art the Remnant Stormtroopers even had ponchos and cloaks coming their armour along with missing pieces etc. Would've loved to seen this in the show as Stormtroopers in Ponchos just sounds awesome. While Moff Gideon rolls up with Death Troopers and the shinny Stormtroopers we all know and love. So it's a great way to show that he has resources, being a Moff as well and former ISB (Imperial Security Bureau) so I'm excited to see where this leads too and this not forget a certain Saber at the end, super exciting.

A neat thing about Moff Gideon's stormtroopers is that they weren't actors, at least in the big scene when Mando/Cara/Greef are hiding in the bar. Most of, if not all, the white armored troopers were from California's 501st group-- so cosplayers who made the screen accurate gear for fun (it HAS to be accurate too, you have to be approved and all sorts of things. I'm building Mandalorian armor for a similar mandalorian group and there are requirements for gear to be approved to troop, gotta submit photos of your gear, etc. And stormtrooper stuff is even more strict because there's some personalization that's allowed in mando armor that isn't allowed for obvious reasons in stormtrooper armor). Anyway, they were trooped out to fill out the ranks in these last two episodes.
