2023-08-16 04:27:28 +0000 UTCI replied to a YouTube commenter recently who complained about a plot hole in Avengers: Endgame. The kind of plot hole that would have completely changed the ending of the battle and ultimately the end of that story. I replied to them that it's not really a plot hole because often the most logical and smartest decisions don't make for good storytelling and entertainment. We could literally poke holes in anything, if we examined it carefully enough. So all this to say, especially since I've seen how this show ends, that I don't agree with your plot holes being "plot holes". We have to have some emotional consideration here too. Walt was in PANIC mode about this money and was so laser focused on getting it out to the desert and buried that it's easy for me to believe that he would have neglected to even think about the van having a GPS tracker. Also if he had checked, there wouldn't have been one - cause the rental company DIDN'T have them. They tricked Walt into thinking the vans did have them. Jesse stealing all of the money sounds fine and dandy, until you remember how much money there is there and how long it took Walt to transport out and bury. Again, we gotta consider Walt's emotional state and panic. I think them faking the picture to lure Walt out there was a great idea and it also provided the best opportunity for things to REALLY get fucked up and for the story to really take a turn because of Jack, Todd and their crew. This wouldn't have happened if Jesse had successfully stolen the $80 million. (Edit: They didn't know where the money was anyway... I just remembered. They wouldn't have found it in the first place if they hadn't done what they did. How exactly would Jesse have stolen the money first and then messed with him? Walt fell for the trick because he was in panic mode and not thinking logically.) I'll agree that Gomey and Hank had some plot armor (not a plot HOLE). But if not for that, the next episode wouldn't have been rated a 10/10 - no way. Thanks for watching!

2023-08-16 03:22:28 +0000 UTCSaid it once said it a thousand times BB and BCS are my fav shows hands down but there were some plot holes in this episode. don't tell me Walt with a GPS in his hands after digging the money hole didn't think to check too see if the rented van had GPS. Why would Jesse burn Walt's money and tell Walt to show up and confront him so he could get shot he'd just steal the money first then mess with Walt. There is no way Goomey and Hank with stood that much lead in the air for that long uncovered. The one guy had an AR12 which is a semi auto shot gun putting out 4-6 slugs every shot and he must have fired 20 times. That being said what a turn of events Hank celebrating with Marie and punking Walt to fighting for his life. Great reaction and take care
