2023-11-29 15:45:36 +0000 UTCI Love how much you are enjoying this, it was super fun and I had a great time with it as well. The Multiverse Saga is right up my alley in so many ways. Episode 3 was my favorite of this group. I loved revisiting phase one! Hearing Ruffalo’s voice in scenes that originally had Edward Norton was a trip. They did leave out Michael Douglas’s name from the opening credits for the twist, which I loved. Ant-Man sometimes gets underestimated/disrespected because he talks to ants and just changes size. Some consider those abilities to not very be dangerous or powerful. He’s just a guy in a suit. I love that this episode highlights just how dangerous and powerful Ant-Man can be, and he shouldn’t be underestimated. In the end it took a little bit of mischief to stop him. Lots of little nuggets and callbacks in these episodes. In episode 3, Hank talks about Hope being killed on a mission in Odessa, Ukraine In CA:TWS Natasha talks about how The Winter Soldier ambushed her and the engineer she was protecting outside of Odessa. Bucky shot straight thru Natasha in order to hit the engineer, leaving a bad scar on Natasha’s stomach/hip area. So, it’s possible in this universe it was Hope not Natasha that Bucky shot, and ultimately ended up killing?

2023-11-29 15:03:52 +0000 UTCJust RE: GotG Christmas Special being spoiler-free: The Marvel Studios opening logo for that (which incorporates clips from all the projects, as you know) has some slight spoilers, and one major spoiler in it about halfway through the logo's animation. So it's fine to watch, just once you see the logo slide into screen, maybe look away until the screen cuts to black. So to clarify, the logo incorporates clips from projects that came out between where you are now, and when the Christmas Special came out in the release order, and one of those clips is enough of a spoiler that I think you'd want to be warned of that.

2023-11-29 05:48:59 +0000 UTCThat's a great point I didn't consider actually, it HAD been a very long time since he was CATFA version of Bucky. He also would have sounded slightly different back then cause he was so much younger.

2023-11-29 05:28:42 +0000 UTCI felt the same way about Sebastian's voice lol. No clue on whether he's done voice acting before, which if he hasn't that being a new medium might be behind it. Or maybe he's not used to being OG Bucky again? He's spent every movie/show since 2011 being either mind-controlled Bucky or traumatized Bucky, so maybe it was a hard change reverting to the Bucky who was innocent and lively, causing him to sort of overdo it. Either way, I totally agree on the animation, it's great!

I still have my comic collection that I'm always happy to add to. The first What If comic I ever got was What If the Hulk Killed Wolverine.

I've been somewhat shocked at how many folks seemingly skipped over this one for whatever reason. Perhaps some folks are animation-adverse? (I know I was once upon a time)
