The piece of music that Chuck was playing in episode 2 of this season was written by his ex-wife Rebecca, so this ultimately was a pay off for that. The talk between Kim and Chuck is fascinating because she has obviously heard Jimmy talk about his dad at some point over the years. She also knows that Chuck always has motives where Jimmy is concerned. So what is she supposed to believe? The truth is likely a combination of things she heard from both of them. Jesse Ennis, who plays Erin Brill is the daughter of one of the main cast members of Mr. Show. When she was a kid she was even in one of the sketches with Bob Odenkirk! She is so good in this role too!
