Ocean's Eleven (2001) ✦ Member of the Month Winner: Full-Length Watchalong Reaction

Hello everyone! Here's the winner's pick for the November Member of the Month draw! This movie has been requested quite a bit through my Suggestion Form. I've decided to put this on the YouTube channel in January. [Direct link here.]

BTW, the December MotM pick is a movie that won't be watched for a little bit and the winner is aware as we chatted about it. I wanted to let you know in advance that one is *intentionally* not being watched soon.

Please enjoy and I can't wait to chat about this movie!

Cheers,

Loved your reaction to this classic and a can't wait to watch the next two with you! 🖤

My favourite gag in this movie is when Topher Grace walks out of the bar and is swarmed by people trying to get autographs etc., and then Brad Pitt and George Clooney (arguably the biggest stars in the world at that point in time) need to push their way through the mob to get out of the bar, and are completely ignored. 😂 Ocean's Twelve and especially Thirteen are absolutely worth checking out! They are all connected sequels. Ocean's Eight is a fun reimagining with an all-female team (since you did specifically mention the lack of a female role in the team). From memory, it's not strongly connected so could be watched out of sequence. Another good heist movie is "The Italian Job" (2003). That's a remake of a movie from 1969. The original is good too, but very slow compared to today's movies. I like the remake more.

Onno Smits

"You suicidal?" "Only in the morning." Always a fun movie...

Good movie. My favorite of the 3 ocean's movies. I like movies that make ya think.

Love catching reactions to this movie. I've also not seen a lot of heist movies outside of the Ocean's series, but I enjoy how they handle the different reveals to the plans and hi-jinks. The comedy/quick back-and-forths are a big player for me as well. But yeah, I can understand dreading creating an edited reaction to a movie like this, where you are trying to avoid talking a lot because you're not trying to miss anything. Thankfully for a good amount of the time in between there are amazing facial expressions to snag. I do recommend Ocean's 12 and 13 if you enjoyed this one - even if not for reaction content, just to watch on your own time. Thanks as always for an incredible reaction, KL! P.S. I totally get the PowerPoint transitions vibe as well, but still enjoyable!

This is a HUGE comfort movie for me. If you like this and want more Clooney with a dash of JLo I highly recommend Out of Sight. It’s kinda like if Danny Ocean was a bit of a fuck up. It’s also in the same universe as Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown

Beautiful!!! Enjoy the movie.

Thank you Richard and KL. I just noticed the "refresh" option after Richard mentioned it. I believe you had mentioned this will happen now previously, but I can't recall if I ran into this additional step to take or not. Regardless, we're good to go now. Thank you both again!

I'M SO SORRY LOL Please enjoy and don't be too tired!

Oh shit. Literally just turned my computer off and got into bed, but I think I need to get back up to watch this reaction. I can stand to be a bit sleepy for work tomorrow. Thank you, KL!
