By far the least of the Askewniverse for me. Brodie is grossly obnoxious. Jeremy London looks like he doesn’t want to be there. And the women don’t have nearly the agency Caitlin and Veronica did in CLERKS; they’re just there for the manbaby leads to moan about. That said, MALLRATS uses Jay and Silent Bob in the best, most endearing way. Definitely their best outing. And we all miss Richard Dawson, KL. We all miss him…very much…

It is far too unfortunate how many people just don't seem to empathize to that when they get upset about how someone reacts/doesn't react to a given scene/movie/show. We should all feel so lucky to have so many different people reacting to the works of art we hold so dear and get their own new perspectives. I am definitely looking forward to continuing this new journey with you!

2023-09-15 05:25:12 +0000 UTCStan Lee’s cameo in Captain Marvel he’s reading the Mallrats script rehearsing his lines. Obviously Kevin Smith was thrilled. Stan wasn’t in very good health for the Captain Marvel cameo, so Marvel asked Smith for some outtake audio from his scene in Mallrats.
