While I'm here, I wanted to say that I miss you all very much and thank you for letting me take some time to step back for a bit and focus on a very big chapter closing and new chapter starting in my life. This past week was definitely the hardest time of my life so far, which certainly speaks to my overall privilege (considering other things going on around the world right now). Deep grief is no joke and I was certainly not in a good space to try to be on camera. Editing was also much harder than I thought it would be. I'm grateful to have all of Ahsoka done and behind me and that was the easiest thing for me to tackle, so for those of you that watched the videos I hope you enjoyed them.
I am leaving in about 9 hours to go to the States to attend TwitchCon, which starts later this week. This has been in my calendar for a very long time and I am really looking forward to having a big event like this take my mind off of things and act as a really good transition between deep grief and resuming reactions. Some friends and I are taking a day to go see the Grand Canyon for the first time. Does anyone have recommendations on the best viewpoints?
Everything will be back to my normal on the 25 - new reactions and edits will drop in that latter half of the week. And then my birthday is on the 30th! Should I do a live stream on YouTube? I have no clue what to do because I haven't even thought about it, to be honest. 😅

Hey Onno, coming back to this comment to say we didn't have time to get around to Horseshoe Bend from the Vegas side, but we did explore a good chunk of the south side! It was AMAZING and we stayed for sunset which was totally worth it. Then the skies were clear for stargazing. Wonderful place! Thanks again for the recommendation even though we didn't end up doing it. I'll have to go back!

It will be all the more fun and rewarding when you are good to come back more full time. Because of work and time zones I don’t always get to participate in your live streams, but they are always fun when I do, so a birthday stream sounds fun 😁 maybe a live watch along of your favorite fall/spooky seasonal movie, special or show episode?

2023-10-18 00:16:34 +0000 UTCHave fun at TwitchCon! For the Grand Canyon, I'd highly recommend being at Horseshoe Bend around sunset. That'll be around 5:20pm - 5:40pm. It's an incredible sight, if you get there by 5:10pm and stay for a half hour. You can drive and park right next to it. I would do a hike in a better area (further south) and then plan your time wisely so you can drive up to Horseshoe Bend at the end of the afternoon.
