Love your enthusiasm for this show! Idk if you are still wondering why May knew to look in Coulson’s grave? I think it might be because at the beginning of the episode when Hill & May are talking about what Coulson knows, Hill says when she asked Fury about who was in charge of Project T.A.H.I.T.I. the only thing Fury would tell her was that “He buried that intel when he decided not to bury Coulson.” May knows Fury’s style and literally burying secrets is right up his alley. Can’t wait for the last 2 of the season!!!

Everyone knows! Great cat-and-mouse interplay between Skye & Ward throughout the episode, and Skye's 'Hail Hydra' dig is really satisfying. I really like Mike's "Wasn't personal. I was just following orders" line - not only is it a nice throwback onto Ward, but for Mike it's *literally* true - unlike Ward, Mike doesn't have a choice about what he's doing. That Coulson actually goes to pay the $20 parking after 'landing' Lola always gives me a chuckle. I've often wondered if the mention of the NRO by Hill in the phone call at the beginning is a little 'correction' for the NSA mentions last episode - spy satellites are the responsibility of the NRO (National Reconnaissance Office IIRC), so Skye hacking the NSA for spy satellite footage is not technically correct (though people are far more likely to have heard of the NSA than the NRO)

I'm having a blast with these reactions! MCU connections: - Too many namedrops to mention. - Maria Hill joined Stark Industries now (as shown at the end of CA:WS). - In the opening scene, Maria Hill mentions talking to Congress about "Who or what is a Man-Thing". Man-Thing is a character from the comics, that has his own movie too, from 2005 (not MCU-related). It was a fun little easter egg. My favourite part of this episode is when the rest of the team finds out, and how Fitz is in a bit of denial and then goes ballistic in the kitchen. But Skye's "You're a Nazi"-speech is also very satisfying! 😅

I love Coulson's "If I come out, are you gonna shoot me? 'Cause then I won't come out." Still makes me laugh after all these years. Heh, you are definitely WAY more forgiving of Ward than I was. Once I found out he was HYDRA and thought about what that means, he was DEAD TO ME! 😁 The thing is, I did believe him when he said that stuff to Skye about him having feelings for her, but that didn't make it better, it kinda made it worse.

What’s wrong with you, I’m having the greatest time watching your AOS reaction. I can’t wait till the next one. I wish it was a reaction per day 😁😁😁😁😁Did u watch Glory yet ?????

Imagine you are the writers / show runners, you know from the beginning about what will happen and now you have to figure out a way to tell a story that both strings things along (without making it feel like you are) and then let's you truly tell the story you always wanted to tell. They didn't drag anything out once the hydra was out of the bag. Even now, they are explaining with Coulson's own words, why we saw the memory replacement happening. Remember May telling Coulson, that her orders from Fury said, it was essential that he couldn't know. In episode one, the doctor says "He really doesn't know, does he?" and Maria answers, "He can never know". So they knew all along, from the first episode exactly how this would play out and were actually dropping hints. Love seeing the big grin on your face as the show doesn't treat you or the characters as dumb. As they set up and then reveal, while giving you the next mystery all in one go. They didn't allow Skye to be a dumb character or fall for the "my feelings are real" trope. She outplayed Ward every step along the way and then I love when Ward says, "I'll handle her" and she answer, "Really, cause you haven't so far".

I can really see the joy as you watch the characters you love and the severe betrayal in your face with ward. Very funny. If you remember age of Ultron maria is working with tony and the avengers so she is no longer "shield" officially. The twist of Coulson being the project leader is crazy and if you remember one of the guards in 1x14 as he was dying from the shots he looked at Coulson and said Do i know you? The guards knew Coulson was the one in charge and him not answering the question they kept repeating made them think he was a hostage.
