I had the biggest crush on Elden Henson (Ratliff) when I was younger. He plays Foggy in this, but I first knew him as Fulton Reed in The Mighty Ducks.

2024-03-02 06:01:53 +0000 UTCWhen I was a kid, before I read X-Men or Spider-man comics I came across Daredevil issue 193. I had no idea who he was, but the cover to that comic drew me in. This show really does a good job translating the characters into lo Iβve action.. I love this show and this first season. I can see you really seem to be picking up on our 3 leadsβ chemistry. Matt, Foggy, & Karen really work and I canβt imagine anyone else but those 3 in those roles. I hope you enjoy the show, but either way Iβm along for the ride.

2024-03-01 23:46:31 +0000 UTCOh shoot, watching the first episode, I remembered a serious issue with Disney Plus and this show, might be worth a PSA for viewers on future episodes. When they ported this series over from Netflix, they messed up with the subtitling. Whenever characters are speaking in other languages, especially in a later episode, Disney+ do not show the subtitles unless all captions are enabled. This caught out Natalie Gold during her watchthrough, it didn't become obvious until halfway through the series. So just be aware, as various people speak Chinese/Japanese/Russion etc throughout. If you don't have the subtitles turned on, you'll miss a bunch of dialogue. I've no idea why Disney+ haven't fixed this after so long, it's very frustrating.

2024-03-01 18:19:12 +0000 UTCDaredevil may have been made by Marvel TV & ABC Studios, but it wasn't an ABC network show - it was released on Netflix, which allowed for the 'grittier' feel. Cinematography for this show is excellent - you get the impression that everyone involved was really showing off what they could do

2024-03-01 18:12:53 +0000 UTCThe music in this show is excellent, the soundtrack to this series really lends a lot to it's atmosphere. Composer John Paesano went on to be the composer in Detroit Become Human, Invincible, and the new Spider-Man games. I really like his work.

2024-03-01 14:46:55 +0000 UTCHaven't rewatched the show in years but this show and AOS are in my opinion the best Marvel has done. Definitely a different tone from shield. Dark and gritty as this is more an action drama but with bits of light humor sprinkled in. You are correct that this is after the battle of New York which everyone calls the incident. You will definitely get more info on his abilities and also more info on the villains. Fun fact. The origin of daredevil blindness shares an unofficial origin with the teenage mutant ninja turtles. In their origin the spilled chemical washed into the sewers and mutanted them and made them human like.
