It's on my list to watch! I'll probably do it once I'm done the View Askew.

The outtakes for this movie are hilarious. You can find them on YouTube. Also, I know it isn’t part of the View Askewniverse, but “Jersey Girl” is worth a watch. George Carlin has a much more prominent role, and he’s very good in it. I’ve read that he was grateful to Kevin for giving him a role that was more than just comedic relief.

One last thing, After Good Will Hunting was rejected many times Kevin Smith showed it to Marimax , He and his partner Scott Mosier were producer's of GWH.

Bob Hanflig

That's funny, cause I actually put my mouse over the video player to specifically look for one but I missed seeing it because of how brief it is. Just watched it now. I don't really have thoughts on it except "Cool!" 😆

You missed the very brief after credit scene.

Thank you!!

Maybe for the fans of the films? Not sure!

Still can't figure out how they got Shannon Doherty to return. She was not loked on set of mallrats and the feelings were mutual.

Willenholly were the parents in lost in space. Jason Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth and Sean Williams were all in American Pie Missy is played by Kevin's wife, young Kevin is played by his daughter, parodies, the fugitive Winnie the poo. When Jay asks Biggs about the Russian chick, Shannon Elizabeth she is playing Justice, she wears glasses because justice is blind. We met Suzanne at the end of Mallrats. I'm sure I missed a lot and skipped the obvious.

Thanks for all the info! The internet poking was super fun and I love especially how back then, it used to be very anonymous everywhere. But now people will be mean using their REAL names. The internet is not *as* anonymous as it used to be. Depending on the situation, I think it's both for the better and for the worse. 😅

I haven’t seen this movie in 20 years. Most of the cameos were a surprise to me today too. Though not as funny as I remember from my 20’s. If you didn’t catch it, the director of Good Will Hunting was Gus Van Sant, playing himself counting his money for the sequel. I think they did a good job pointing fun at Hollywood overall. Especially all the pop culture references. I think Gen X basically communicates via pop culture references and Kevin Smith may be the spokesmodel for my generation. Some of that dialogue was cringe-worthy, a product of its time and it helped me appreciate how much I’ve grown over the past 20+ years myself. My favorite moment in the reaction was your total agreement with their definition/summary of the internet. And pre-social media, I might add. At least back then you had to make an active decision to find a computer, sign on to the internet, and read a blog of webpage. Vitriol was not readily available in you pocket. Oh! And the pizza delivery guy was Joe Quesada, he was the artist on the Daredevil comic when Kevin Smith was writing it. And there’s a quick scene of a man in a red (comic book accurate) devil costume, aka Daredevil while they are running through the lot. That was another Easter egg because Ben Affleck played Matt Murdock in the 2003 Daredevil movie, which pre-dates the MCU by 5 years and isn’t talked about anymore. For this movie though, even if it didn’t rank, you enjoyed being in on the jokes and cameos and that was the best part of your reaction. Thanks as always for sharing it.

It doesn't feel like 23 years since this came out. Holy shit, I'm old. Haha! 👴🏻
