How Fisk arranges for the Russians to be taken out demonstrates just why he's so dangerous - not only is he a dangerous person physically (as proven last episode), he's capable of putting together and flawlessly executing an intricate plan, all the while manipulating the situation to his advantage (as further shown next episode). Vanessa is an interesting character - knowing who Fisk is, and still willing to be with him. They definitely make a very intriguing and compelling couple. Thus far the show has rather suggested that Matt is the more capable lawyer, but the 'showdown' with Marci shows that Foggy is quite capable in his own right
