Thank you to Jonas for this Member of the Month pick! 🥳 I watched the first Knives Out movie back when it came out and it's one of my top choices of Rewatchable Movies out there. I'm pretty confident that I've watched it over 10 times and I actually want to rewatch it soon... perhaps a live watchalong on YouTube? This was great, and I’m not sorry I put it off so long because I had the opportunity to watch along side this reaction. I was so invested in both simultaneously that when you (KL) would ask questions about what you missed I was answering aloud. Like a psycho. But what a ride!

As a southerner, I think he's an awesome character and I love that his accent is over the top. When you rewatch be on the lookout for other made up words that Miles uses.

2024-03-25 16:15:35 +0000 UTCA couple of quick things: Rian Johnson has known Joseph Gordon-Levitt for a long time, with JGL turning up in Johnson's first movie. Since then, JGL has had some kind of part in every Rian Johnson movie. In the first Knives Out, he plays the voice of a TV detective that you can hear when Marta's sister is watching a soap opera on her laptop in the kitchen ("We have the nanny cam footage!"). If you want a good laugh, you should look up the IMDb cast list to see his role in this. Also, you don't have to worry. The original Knives Out was independently produced by Johnson and his producing partner Ram Bergman's T-Street and MRC, and distributed theatrically by Lionsgate, but after it was a big hit, Netflix stepped in with a massive offer to T-Street to take over the distribution of further Benoit Blanc mysteries. Johnson and Bergman accepted, with both Knives Out 2 and 3 being ordered simultaneously as part of the deal. Both Johnson and Craig have said they'd be happy to keep making them as long as Johnson has ideas and Craig is still having fun playing the character, but at the bare minimum, we are 100% getting a third film, which reportedly is meant to film sometime this year.

Natasha Lyonne is great as the lead. I don't know if it would work for channel, but definitely worth checking out if you like the Knives Out movies.

2024-03-24 15:43:00 +0000 UTCI don't think we obvious to me until it's revealed Andy was the one murdered. Even when Duke died, I still thought someone was trying to kill Miles; but, once you find out what Miles did, it was obvious he was the killer.

It’s one of those moronic studio choices that actually makes zero sense and doesn’t even help promote it properly. They should have just called it Glass Onion or if they had to have a subtitle they could have called it Glass Onion: a Benoit Blanc Mystery. Calling it a “Knives Out Mystery” doesn’t even make sense thematically. Okay, mini rant over!

I LOVED Knives Out and while it has a great build up, the way The Glass Onion skips back made my head explode. I have seen The Glass Onion a bunch too and I even restarted my Netflix sub just to watch-along. So much fun to see this alongside you. Thanks for another great video.
