Yeah, I'm so excited!

I remembered some of the “Black Mirror” vibes this show had, but forgot they started so early 😆 Thinking about your plans for this year and certain storylines this show follows … it will be really interesting and fun seeing you take in so much Marvel information from various corners of the multiverse at the same time. It is nice that you are mixing it up. The MCU alone has some many genres packed into it, adding in the various shows and alternate universe movies really keeps it fresh.

No surprise but I love this episode (I love almost every episode but it does make for a good starting statement for a comment like this :P). These eyes are a terrifying concept to me. Ward ending up in some uncomfortable situations is weirdly entertaining, though I agree that Skye did go too far with the one at the end. As you said there's a lot of unanswered questions about some of the antagonists, which is always fun. I love Coulson as a character, and even though he definitely has a lot of obvious positive qualities, I don't think I could specifically tell you why I do. There's characters with those same qualities that I like less.

what a great episode

The Coulson episode. We see his protege and more about his actual character. His near death has given him a new philosophy of second chances and team work and we actually see how his team is following his methods. The two specialists that usually work alone (ward and may) are both helped by others skye and coulson respectfully showing how team work is essential for this team to work.

Yes, the structure is great! And thanks! Trying my best to pay attention. 😂

That's a good point I didn't think about. 😂 But Tony is also busy at this point in the timeline IIRC.

I agree with you that the red masks are a ludicrously bad way of transporting diamonds securely. 😂 They could learn a thing or two from the golfball method. I forgot how good the structure of this episode is! It's a nice compact mystery that unravels at a speedy pace. The eye-explodey effect in the British guy was... disturbing. Good job on catching and keeping track of all the left open threads from all the episodes so far.

We're 4 episodes in now. So I feel I can say this. It really bugs me that Agent Colson is out in the world on these missions. He's suposted to be dead/hiding. Someone like Tony Stark could easily find him with how much his face is out in the world. Other than that, it's an interesting show.
