The cut at the end is so brilliant, they even set it up earlier showing her take a short nap. She fell asleep at the wheel but for her it happened in an instant. Jimmy is so gross in this episode. He even likes Irene but he goes through with it all anyway. He clearly wanted Kim to be impressed but she was actually trying to be responsible. TBF it would have been more responsible to let Francesca drive but that pride thing infects everyone I guess.
