Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Seeds [1x12] ✦ Full-Length Watchalong Reaction & Review

Great reaction, very fun watch for sure. I dont know why but watching someone else react to a show or movie with some emotional scenes it always makes me feel more emotional about various parts of said episode/movie.

Though Fury did say to Coulson that she was a risk. When Coulson said he knows Fury looked at him weirdly. Fury would be one of the few people who could assess that file

The episode is called seeds and that is very accurate name because it plants so much seeds for the Future. Earlier in the season the team was wondering how centipede was funded and now we get Quinn involved with Clairevoyent. Love your Skye theories and your reaction to May telling Coulson about ward. Next episode format is a great one and my personal favorite of early season 1.

My understanding is that S.H.I.E.L.D. as a whole didn't know about Skye once the protocol Agent Avery set up (to move Skye around the foster system) was in effect - presumably because not only as a Level 8 protocol it was highly classified, but with it not being an officially sanctioned action (since Avery faked the clearance) no-one with the necessary clearance would have known about it There's also the implication from the pilot that Skye has erased her own information - when Mike asks how he can know if she can erase his information, she says she's done it before

That will drop Friday morninng my time!

Back to a "case of the week"-type episode, with a Skye-centric B-plot. I liked the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy setting, and there were some mightily impressive visual effects going on. In terms of MCU connections, we were very light. Basically just the mention of Bucky Barnes being up on the Wall of Valor, as he died whilst in the service of the SSR. I'm really looking forward to getting to the next episode later this week! It's one of my favourites from Season 1.
