I didn't mention this during the reaction at all I don't think, but there were like two scenes in this movie that felt super familiar as I was watching them, but yet I had no recollection or memory. Kind of like de ja vu? So I'm thinking it's likely that this movie was on a TV at some point in my life that I like had 10% of my attention to. Have you ever had that happen? Please enjoy! I was loving the slow burn, but I was also just SO hoping they'd end up together. A strong friendship as the foundation of a relationship is generally when it works out the most, so I was just really eager for that! Yes, that line is AMAZING.

2024-02-14 19:57:55 +0000 UTCI just kept giggling with you constantly expecting them to get together and I'm like "This movie is totally about the journey." I saw this at the movies. Had advance tickets and instantly fell in love with it because of those great real conversations. And like you, my favorite line is at the end when Harry is rattling off all the little things he loves about her and says, "I came here tonight because when you realize you wanna spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to begin as soon as possible." Love it.

2024-02-10 20:40:51 +0000 UTCI love this movie. I feel like Billy Crystal & Meg Ryan are two friends and we’re just being given the opportunity to observe their evolution. But I understand Harry could only speak from his experience as a man in the 70’s, but he is wrong. My best friend is a woman. We met at work, both after our divorces. Our company was the single most toxic environment anyone could ever experience. We were a team of 2 for over a year and bonded through the stress. Neither of us work there now (thank goodness) but all these years later we are the best of friends. We call each other for every major (and minor) event, personal and medical. I hope we stay friends forever. Thanks for choosing this one KL. It was the perfect feel good movie to start my weekend.
