A quick note about email notifications...

I'm making this post because sometime last week Patreon made a change to emails that is kind of driving me crazy. 😂 As a free member to a ton of reactors myself (around 30 people), I started receiving individual emails for every single locked post that those reactors are putting out for their paid members. They look like this, to show an example:

If I'm getting them for everyone that I'm a free member of then you are likely receiving emails like this about MY posts too. I just want you all to know that I have absolutely zero control over these email blasts. BUT there is something you can do on your end so I wanted to share those steps.

Go to Settings > Email Notifications. Find me and click on the button. You'll then see the below settings and you can toggle the "New paid posts" one off. This should prevent you from receiving these individual emails about my paid posts.

"Other posts" will notify you of any posts just to free members (like this one!) and all public posts, so that's a good one to keep on. I would also recommend keeping the "Creator updates" one turned on. These are a new type of email that Patreon has started sending and I personally enjoy receiving these as they are a nice "Here's what you've missed" kind of email and are far less frequent.

All that said... if you are happy to receive an email every time I post something to the folks who are paying members, as a way of seeing exactly what content I'm sharing, then you can definitely keep it turned on!
