Let me explain the opening: Here are the references that I found: - Right from the first second, the ties are transitioning from regular nice black and white ties, to standard blue ties which normal lawyers would wear. Then it transitions to more outlandish colors, which we started seeing glimpses of when he was purposefully trying to get fired from Davis & Main. – 0:40 Stripper pole 1:18 Pretty sure that's Jimmy's first ever briefcase. – 1:25 That black Panavision hat is the hat he wore in the first ever commercial he made under the moniker of Saul Goodman – 1:54 At the beginning of Season 5, Jimmy adds Saul Goodman as a DBA name. However, the name Saul Goodman is on the pill bottles and not his original name, possibly inferring he fully changed his name to Saul Goodman in the future. – 2:32 A golden toilet was actually first mentioned in Season 5 of BB by Jesse, with the idea that if he was that rich, it would be cool to have one, even if it really is just a regular toilet. Jesse wasn't referring to Saul's, though, as he was referencing, he possibly saw one in Mexico when he went to Don Eladio's house. – 3:26 The famous LWYRUP Cadillac – 3:34 That's the Richie Blackmore guitar Jimmy got when he conned the twins who owned the music shop. – 3:48 This is the coded black book the vet assumably gives to Jimmy containing all his contacts from the criminal underworld. This is the first appearance we see it on screen, but doesn't chronologically appear till S6 Ep6. – 3:49 Some extra beanie babies that Jimmy would use to bribe that lady at the courthouse. – 3:50 This box alone contains a few items. The first is the original picture that Jimmy used as leverage of Mesa Verde logo copyright infringement. Then of course there are the balls he would throw that came from the cellphone shop he worked at. And speaking of which, there appear to be a few phones as well, one looks like the original phone he was using throughout the entire series. The others look like his standard burner phones he was selling to potential clients. 4:01 If you look real fast, a lady is walking by with a clear bag of balls. I'm thinking that's supposed to be bingo balls from the senior citizen care home. Why Saul would have kept these after all these years, I wouldn't know why. Maybe the creators stuck it in there purely for reference purpose. 4:39 The bottle stopper that Jimmy kept. This of course references the times Jimmy & Kim would get people drunk to con them for money.

I am always scattered about this sort of thing so I may have mentioned it before. The intro has been getting more degraded with each season and you will notice that it is almost totally colorless now. The opening shot with the ties falling was done with a conveyor belt. They started with black/white/grey ties and gradually introduced color. So that wasn’t actually shot in black and white. What a fun way to play with expectations! There are Easter eggs not only of things you have seen from earlier in both BCS and BB but also things that will pop up later in the season. What a gut punch to close that out on the tequila topper! All the Nacho stuff is pretty straightforward with how I felt about all this. Just an awful situation all around with danger in every direction. The gears are really turning in the Lalo/Gus feud. It’s strange, but I think Hector actually became more perceptive after ending up in a wheel chair. Maybe all that time alone? It’s sad to see that Jimmy only thinks he has value to Kim if he excites her. It is clear in the diner scene that he just wanted to make her happy. And Kim plays right into that too. Toxic all the way around.
