I'll provide more details in the newsletter, but this was the edit that broke my patience with my primary PC and prompted me to order all new parts (and I'm doing a HUGE upgrade). ๐ This PC is nearly 6 years old, aside from the CPU and SSD so... it was time. A necessary purchase. I'm upgrading it so heavily that I'm going to sell my gaming PC and go back down to a single PC setup. Really looking forward to this.

It is such a shame, but I have to agree with you on both the original GotG and also this movie. Both need ... more. And I believe they both could have been great if they had more. Phastos had such huge moments that hit so good, and it was because of his deeply personal interactions with humans and how close he got with them. I wanted more of that for everybody. In all the lands they've visited, in all the times they've lived. Its missing the opportunity to have more character defining moments; its missing the length of a journey that would be needed before it feels "earned". You hit the nail on the head, I would have LOVED to see this as a 10 episode limited series.

2024-04-13 03:39:42 +0000 UTCI felt this was so overly hated for no reason. It had depth and twists and beauty and so much emotion.... I hope they continue setting up what they wanted to set up and don't listen to the haters. I wanna see more of these characters.

With a movie like this it would have been better to have at least one character we knew learning about all this so at least something comes out of this and we have someone to latch onto that we care about. But this movie just seems like random sci-fi that if I didn't know was mcu I would have never bothered to watch. Sorry to be so negative but to me this was definitely a cash grab for all these famous actors.
