Added 2024-04-16 18:00:24 +0000 UTCHi everyone! π Things here might be a bit more random than usual over the next week/week and a half because I ordered a brand new PC! π₯³ And I don't know when it will be ready yet. All I know is that I'll need an entire day - possibly two - to pick it up, set it up, reinstall all my software, transfer my entire life over π and reset my current PCs so I can sell them.
This is a much needed upgrade. I've been hobbling along for a while with my current PC and basically just delaying the inevitable. Sometimes you're not pushed to do something until your patience runs out and that was me last week.
Here's what is coming next:
YouTube: my reactions to Hawkeye (two videos). No movie this week as Hawkeye is the equivalent of two films.
Patreon Watchalongs: Across the Spider-Verse will be shared today (tomorrow for many of you). Another movie will be shared too, it'll be the next X-Men film - The Last Stand

Yeah, I made a mistake! Thank you. Just corrected the post, it'll be the next X-Men film and Moon Knight will be out next week for y'all.

2024-04-17 00:53:35 +0000 UTCNice! I got a custom PC back right after COVID started from a company called NZXT. I was considered trying to build it own my own cause like you said. It is cheaper, but I paid extra for them to build it for me. Maybe next time I need a new PC I'll build it myself π€

2024-04-16 20:14:47 +0000 UTCI chose parts that were compatible with one another, on the cheaper side, and a big step up from what I currently have. The big hitters are: Ryzen 5 7600 CPU (upgrading from a 5600), Asus GeForce RTX 4060 GPU (upgrading from a 1050), and a motherboard that has WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities (which I've never had before). I've also decided to replace my main monitor that I use for watching movies and shows and playing games on, to a monitor that has HDR capability and over double the refresh rate.
