A few tidbits about this one. The Moncada brothers (they play the murder cousins) actually advised for that fight between Jimmy and Howard. They both have boxing experience. The idea was for both of them to be complete novices but also fully committed to having this boxing match. I totally agree about Viola! Every time there is one of these character actors stealing a scene it just makes me wish they were cast in more stuff. I feel the same way about Francesca! The little dog was originally going to be named bear but they changed it because that wouldn’t match up with German sensibilities. Little bear was a nice compromise. The background behind the house was mostly digital because it was shot in New Mexico. So they had to make it look like a German town. My heart was pounding during the last scene too!
