2024-05-18 20:07:14 +0000 UTCI swear when I first watched ep 10 on TV, there was a glimpse of Raina after the transformation when the temple was collapsing, but I have not been able to see her since then. There's a shot where it looks like you just see darkness with debris falling and originally I saw just a slight glimpse of Raina slinking into the darkness. Let me know if you can see it, because I haven't on any subsequent viewings or reactions.

2024-05-15 16:37:05 +0000 UTCLoved the fact that basicly everything lead up to this moment from day 1 of meeting Skye and learning Coulson was still alive to GH-35 everything leads to this one moment... and boom things are about to change ! The whole scene of Cal and Skye talking mainly Cal explaining to Skye about her mom was heartbreaking but so well done. My short but favorite scene was Skye grabbing the gun no hesitation instant shooting Ward was a great feeling. Hope you are ready to continue the awesome AoS ride of enjoyment ! it just continues to get better

He was a very dedicated shield agent and without him we would have lost Skye, Mack(he is cured once the diviner activate) , and Coulson to the bombs they had set up. Tragically as the comments mentioned his act of kicking the diviner to stop the process caused pieces to touch him. You mentioned the temple not affecting him it is because the entrance had the marks Mack touched with his hand. Learning about Cal and skye's mom in such a weird situation is why I love this show. You can see that Cal truly loves Skye but he is just crazy. The diviner opened up into blue crystals that released mist onto Skye and Raina but the mist did nothing to trip.

Another detail in Skye's dream is the fact she is wearing a flower dress like raina not only solidifying their connection but also foreshadowing her flower name Daisy. You were correct in season one when you suspected the blue alien was kree but this is when the show reveals it as fact when raina says the kree brought the diviners to earth. I wanted to also mention how skilled Skye has become since season one.

Fan theories on them had been running rampant and the show writers clearly loved to just run with it and keep us guessing for longer. Who'd've thought that the girl with the flower dress which we met in 1x05 would become such an integral part of the story. I love the OST music that plays at the end of the episode when Skye breaks out of that husk. Tripp dying sucks, I really like his character.

2024-05-12 19:15:45 +0000 UTCWhilst not technically a two-parter, in effect these two episodes are so tightly coupled that they might as well be. Skye's dream sequence is full of little details hinting about her: the newspaper being in Chinese (we know she's from China from her 0-8-4 story); Coulson & May as her surrogate parents, reflecting her actual parentage and ethnicity (which also reflects Chloe Bennett's real life ethnicity); the music box playing Daisy, Daisy, reflecting her real name. Trip's death is heartbreaking on multiple levels - not only does he die believing that he failed to save Skye, but had he not destroyed the Diviner he likely would have been fine - the mist released didn't affect him, but as a result of destroying the Diviner some shards of the metal casing embedded in his body, causing the reaction we've seen before. As the other commenter noted, Mack was affected by the city because he touched the markings on the floor. Since FitzSimmons didn't know what the cause was, they assumed that hazmat suits would be needed, but they aren't actually necessary - as the others didn't touch the same markings, they wouldn't have been affected.
