We decided on Vertigo as it had gotten a lot of votes in the James Stewart/Alfred Hitchcock poll (that Rear Window won) and it was something my Mom hadn't seen. It'll be a bit before I get around to editing it, but same! I think it'll be relatively easy to edit because of how much can be cut out because of the slow burn.

First-ish because I fell asleep the first time and restarted today and powered through a slow burner of a movie. I’m very curious what the book it’s based on is like because ultimately I really enjoyed this movie. I will look to see if there’s an English translation out there. I agree wholeheartedly with your mom, there’s not a lot that needed to said reaction-wise. You really have to take it in. And after a full night’s sleep. Your post film chat was really fun and I look forward to seeing how this edits for YouTube.
