So I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I couldn't help but fan my curiosity and look up the significance of 33 in various mediums. In numerology, 33 is what's called a "master number". It represents caring and harmonious energy. In spirituality, 33 is an angel number that represents divine support and guidance or being guided by a higher power. In religion, 33 represents the second level of heaven in Buddhism and it's said Jesus was crucified at age 33. Now is any of that significant to Dark? Who the hell knows? 😂 I could get really technical and say 3 plus 3 is 6, the number of man, three sixes is the devil's number. Or they could have just picked a number at random just to see how crazy the theories would get. Oh man I cannot imagine the absolute terror that must come with finding a piece of your child's clothing in the woods and no sign of your child. This show does an incredible job of keeping you guessing and building the suspense. Thank God she got home safely. Aww the sister does care. She just has to be a teen and pretend she doesn't. Okay, stick figures in the woods is giving me Blair Witch and True Detective vibes. Who are you, Noah? Are you causing all this?

I would actually recommend full names and occupations/relations/significance for the present and the past (if they appear in both). Helge Doppler: old man wandering streets in PJs sounding ominous. Father of Peter Doppler. 1986: works at power plant as a labourer/janitor. Gives book “A Journey Through Time” by H.G. Tannahaus to Claudia Tiedemann on her first day in charge of the plant. You may have a better memory for names and faces than I do, but even when I was writing down everyone’s name on my first watch, when we switched timelines I was still asking myself “who is that?” and more specifically what the characters relation was to each other (particularly minor characters). Being able to look down and go ‘right, Helge, old guy who seems like he knows something’ was invaluable. It’s some effort – and by all means, you do you and enjoy this however you want – but I think it's going to be helpful.
