➡️ For YouTube reactions this week, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be premiering on Sat Jul 27 at 13:00 MDT / 19:00 UTC. I am hoping to have two other reactions go out this week prior to DSMM, but of course it's all copyright dependent.

And speaking of the whole copyright thing - and I'm not sure why this didn't occur to me until recently - but I will be changing how I share my edits for early access with you all (and YouTube channel members) very soon. Stay tuned!

To Everyone:

• Thank you so much to those of you who voted in the poll that Onno had set up for his Member of the Month win! I am excited to share my reaction to the winning movie this week and now I have a bunch of movies I had never heard of on my radar too. 👀

To Insiders:

• We wrapped up The Acolyte last week! The Season 2 finale for House of the Dragon is on August 4. My scheduled time off is from Aug 17 - 25. So I've decided that I won't be introducing a new series until I return from that time off. This will give me a little more free time through the rest of the summer to not only enjoy the little bit of summer I get here in Alberta, but to work on some planned stuff that I still have on my to-do list for the channel.

• But what will be next?! Well, my first choice for the next non-Marvel series to start is one that is fully completed and available through Netflix: Dark (2017-2020). Why this one?

  • I just finished re-watching Mr. Robot with James vs Cinema on his Patreon and he constantly mentioned Dark when comparing Mr. Robot to something else he's watched before, not from a story perspective but for everything else involved in filmmaking. He consistently praised Dark and recommended it, so that stuck with me after hearing it so much.

  • It's all in German and since foreign films are requested a lot for reactions, this would be a good "test run" for me.

  • I have watched the trailer for Season 1 and I am pretty intrigued. (Watching trailers for TV series is something I'm okay with doing even though I avoid it for films.) We also won't be spending much time on this show. At two episodes per week, it will take 3 months.

• I realize there are a LOT of series for me to watch out there and I would like to do a poll eventually. If there isn't much interest in Dark, then I could always go for a poll right away. Use the comments to let me know!
