Another incredible episode. Julika Jenkins keeps impressing me with her acting for Claudia. [Direct link here.]
As always, I'm looking forward to your comments! Thank you so much for being along this wild ride with me.

Thanks for clarifying the Aleksander stuff. I am sure we're gonna get more info on that in Season 3, can't wait! And yes, this expression of mine can truly apply to the whole show TBH.

That is my favourite KL reaction expression, glad it finally made the thumbnail. You could probably use that one for the whole series. I also cackled at your reaction to Hannah travelling again.
I couldn't tell if you were confused about Aleksander Tiedemann/Köhler, but just in case any of it was murky… as we know he is originally Boris Niewald (we see him bury the Boris passport with his photo on it in 1986, which Hannah then digs up, along with the gun he buried). After rescuing Regina from Ulrich and Katarina, he tells Regina he is Aleksander Köhler and starts using that name and ID after arriving in Winden and then took his wife’s name after they married. Presumably (thanks to the anonymous note to Clausen) it follows that the Aleksander Köhler who is Inspector Clausen’s brother is also the Aleksander Köhler whose identity Boris Niewald stole in 1986. Which of course begs the question of what happened to the real Aleksander Köhler.
Something I vaguely thought about on my first watch... but given the historical time jumping, I was wondering if the unification/non-unification of Germany would be relevant. Marburg (where Clausen says he's from) is getting pretty close to the East German border circa 1986. Also, where is Winden? I believe it's meant to be a fictional place, but I don't know if anyone has theories about where it is...

Damn, Martha, you just pulled a reverse Jon Snow, girl!
Okay it wasn't the same angle BUT is Claudia the body in the opening credits?

Yes, it makes it even more believable that they're the same person. Love it.

I love how Jonas at the end looks and acts more and more like stranger Jonas. On the other hand, we see stranger Jonas acting like young Jonas when he is around Martha. I think both actors did a fantastic job there.
