Yeah, that Frank and Karen scene is gold. I love that they have...since the jump on Daredevil...had Karen be the one person that Frank opens up to about his kids. He has never shied away from being emotional with her and his skakey-voiced "please" to her in that scene definitely echoed their scene in the hospital room in season 2 of Dd. He's not really the kind of guy who says "please" much because he doesn't typically say much anyway...but Karen inspires him to say it more of then anyone. Karen...goddamn do I love Deb. She's one of those actors (Jon, too) who just live in the scene when it's happening. It's truth in the moment, so it feels like truth to the audience and hits you in the chest like a hammer. If I ever need to process emotions/have a good cry, I play that scene to open the floodgates. Superbly acted, but also...that says so much about the depth of caring that Karen has for Frank...that she gets that emotional for him...over wanting him to have a future...over the heartbreak of his lost family...not over herself or the truth, etc. but for this cranky, violent man who hasn't exactly brought her much of anything except trouble (and rescue...which she probably wouldn't have needed without the trouble, ha). She's just a special person and their bond (while not the healthiest) helps keep Frank connected to something other than grief and vengeance.
