2025-09-26 08:06:27 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite KStew performances and overall movies of hers. I love how we begin with the murder being alluded to and then go back. For anyone unfamiliar, we get a nice buildup of tension until we see what happened. Whether you're aware of the killer or not, it still does a magnificent job with making you care about Bridgette and empathetic toward Lizzie and her reasons. While there's no real proof that Bridgette and Lizzie had a fling, it's nice to think that they had each other during a horrific time. What's really upsetting to consider is that all the maids that left unexpectedly or were fired all shared the same fate as Bridgette, being... Let's say visited late at night by the father. Maybe they did have something going on. Lizzie already had motive but she'd seen too many of these women get hurt and Bridgette may have been someone that was dear to her. Sadly the only people that really know are long gone
