I have to apologize - this week has been a lot on the personal side of my life, so I wanted to make a change in the schedule with the scary movies. I'm releasing The Fly for the second scary movie instead of IT Chapter Two this week. Thanks to those of you who voted for this in the Scaretober Poll!
Man, this movie/story was way more heartbreaking than scary/creepy? đ Yeah, it was gross. I knew it would be that going in. But damn, I sure wasn't expecting to have all kinds of emotions and feels inside me. I am pretty sure this is my favourite performance of Jeff Goldblum now. He really acted his... fingernails off. đ
I think watching The Thing before this one set me up for what to expect with 1980s grotesque visuals and practical work - oh, the practical work!
