It was the poll that Apocalypse Now won. I took that list to make a new poll out of and I also added a film that was recommended in the comments on that poll - thank you Dorran for the suggestion!

My November war movie plans for the channel are the winner of this poll, Apocalypse Now, and one other movie which came through as a Reactr request this month. And I will be watching Band of Brothers (fiiiiinally!), which will begin appearing on Patreon next week.

Lots of good ones. 1917 was the best one in a long time for me. Great direction by Sam Mendes, solid acting, and nice score by Thomas Newman. Beautiful art direction and cinematography. Might be the best war movie for people who don't like war movies that much.
