CAUTION THAR BE SPOILERS BELOW!!! DO NOT PROCEED IF YOU DON'T WISH TO BE SPOILED! I'm happy I won. I picked this movie because I didn't know how long it would be until I got picked. There are many movies I rejected because, you were going to review them. Lost of iconic movies out there. This is a fun movie to watch, I know it's not rated that high, but the cast does a very good job. Who is Kurt Russel, he's the action hero, and Robin? The comedic sidekick! But there's a a good heart to this movie. I know, people are talking about how everyone knows the ending, but for the USA, Vietnam put a damper on the USA USA USA, and then the oil shock, helped with the national depression and Watergate, then Carter couldn't get the economy going. But we know Kurt Russel! He's the guy who can save the president, and fight the alien, save the world. And Robin can make us laugh, and think and cry. But! with this movie you don't just have those two, you've got a town that wants a win, and for that you need a team of underdogs, back in the eighties there was a term "Blue Collar". That's why we love those stories. give us hope for the future. Hearing your "OH!" when seeing the dog and discovering the special guest at the end, seemed like they were very similar characters, especially after the rain started, the dog was there, but for a time, maybe he didn't want to be meanwhile our guest remained in the town, because it was his home. And his faith was rewarded, Thanks for this. Now, another point related to Kurt Russell. You don't have to react to this, but there's a sports related documentary "The Battered Bastards of Baseball" (2014) maybe I could put together a poll of sports related documentaries, and they could be voted on in the future, I'll think about that. Thanks again, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I understand about the yawning, there was lots about this movie to consider, and that takes energy! Happy Remembrance Day!
