I know what you mean about going into the vet with another pet and having a hesitantancy leaving since you’ve had a bad experience before. I’ve had 2 pets before that suddenly pass while in the care of the vet and I just dread for the worst. It is good that Kepler has more time with you guys and hopefully he can improve 10 fold with you guys around him more. Good vibes to y’all

2024-04-14 03:59:46 +0000 UTCWe've also been on borrowed time with our 14.5 yo cat, who previously had active diabetes but now has kidney issues. Over a year ago we had to make the call with a rescue bearded dragon of ours that had a neuroendocrine tumor. Take it day by day. Do what you can for him, and find peace in the fact that most likely Keppy will let you know when it's time. My thoughts are with you all. Our fur (and scaley!) babys are definitely family and I hope when the time comes, it's easier for you all.
