Patreon Exclusive - February 2018 (3.3.18)

This one is a bit long (and perhaps a bit rambly), but there's quite a few things to discuss! February was more interesting than we originally expected, and March is going to be the craziest month for us in a long, long time. And there's some amazing things just on the horizon!

As always, thank you for your support! And as I say at the end of this video... wish us luck! :X

Firstly, glad Mark was alright! It is completely understandable those kinds of events are pretty scary, but thankfully things went well. Regarding the versus content, I would be interested in Earthbound VS (It would probably give me the final push to finish it myself too). Otherwise, I am looking forward to you guys playing Finding Paradise, it was a beautiful game, definitely a worthy successor to To The Moon, so hope you enjoy/enjoyed it :-) I've loved SM64, loving Assassin's Creed, and with Fallout wrapping up I will probably try and watch that now too, I remember I started watching it in the beginning, but stopped since I was too into playing it myself at the time, but seems like a good time to start when it's done. Keep up the great work, man, and good luck to the both of you! Glen

Yep! In fact Mark gets to go home tomorrow! I've learned more info as I was in the process of responding to patrons, so there's a spot where my responses changed from "in the next few days" to "tomorrow"! Pokémon was recommended several times and I agree that it's perfect for a Versus match (as long as everyone watching is cool with us being completely incompetent in Pokémon, haha). We might drop the Pokédex entries/art from a series like that since setting up the versus elements would be hard enough, but I guess we'd cross that bridge when we get there. Earthbound would definitely be first on the list, though. Once we've tackled that game, we'll start considering other ones. While Mal can't eat peanuts themselves, she is totally okay with eating foods produced in facilities that process peanuts, so no worries. She's also only allergic to peanuts, meaning other nuts (pecans, cashews, walnuts, etc) are totally okay, too. She's also been fine with foods cooked in peanut oil, so really it's just the peanuts themselves. Hope that helps! Thanks for supporting us, Christopher! Have an awesome March :)

Hi Stephen! I've seen from your replies to the other comments that Mal's dad got through his surgery. That's great news! I hope he has a smooth recovery from here on out. I really enjoyed the Earthbound versus match (I've never played Earthbound before and this makes me want to play it!) and would love to see more content like that. I also agree with another commenter here that Pokemon would be excellent for such a series. If you still want to do the art for a pokedex, I'd be willing to make a few drawings. I'm not much of an artist, but I might learn something from the experience. I also have a question for you that's probably answered somewhere, but I can't find a specific enough answer. I want to send you and Mal some candy, but I need to know if Mal can eat stuff that doesn't contain peanuts, but is produced in a facility that also processes peanuts. I know from the August 2017 Q&A video that Mal has more or less of an intolerance to peanuts, but I just want to be sure that both of you can enjoy it!
