Added 2021-07-21 21:00:15 +0000 UTCRef sheet for an oc I was commissioned.
Customer gave me the colors and I'm not lover of dark/almost black chars. But customer is always right.

Yeah, the thing is my refsheet style is about solid colors so I cannot do too much to give depth with shadows and lights.

2021-07-22 04:15:04 +0000 UTCI know how you feel. I helped a friend paint some minis a while back that were largely black. The only way I got any feeling of detail was to dry brush in some dark grey and then edge highlights. Playing with the highlights brought some feeling of detail/space back but then again I don't know what your customer wanted for color/materials.
