Patreon Exclusive - December 2019 (1.4.20)

It's a brand new year! We've got a lot to look forward to, especially since we ended 2019 with things nearly caught up. I think 2020 is gonna be the most fun we've ever had with the channels.
For what it's worth, Night In The Woods is on our list of "want to play" games! Also came highly rated by Dan, so I know he'd enjoy editing it, too, if we did it as an episodic series on Twitch.
I've heard really great things about a lot of those games on your list, actually! Frog Detective has been suggested to us via Twitter by multiple users, and Paul loves Mini Metro. Also know quite a few people who have loved FTL, too.
I appreciate these recommendations! We've been continually adding to the list of games we'd like to play, and it's nice to see the list getting padded out! Often we decide on what to play any given Friday just hours before, based on the mood we're in. That's actually how we jumped into Yoshi's Island recently, too!
Thank you again, Mary Kate! I hope you had a really great January! :D

Hey Anna! I'm glad you're saying hello! I'm normally a little faster to respond, but I've been just a little behind on some of my January tasks. Catching up now, though!
It means a lot to hear you've been enjoying our stuff for so long! We've always loved creating things, but it's the feedback and appreciation that drives us to continue, so thank you.
I've never heard of chocolate chess pie! I looked it up and while it's not quite the pie I was thinking of, it's absolutely one I want to eat now... I'm a huuuuge sucker for brownies, so this is definitely up my alley. Just gonna casually message Mal about this~
Thank you again for the support, Anna! I hope your January was excellent, and you can expect a new Patreon video tomorrow! (And hopefully I'll do a much better job of responding quickly, too! :X)

So apparently my comment I left at the beginning of the month disappeared? At least I can't see it on my device so I will rewrite it, hope you didn't get it twice!
Congratulations on all the vlog progress this month!
I wanted to use this months comment to give you a few more ideas for short form games to add to your streaming list! I know that I, wanderingstars, have made it clear that I would love to see you and Mal play Night in the Woods so I will shut up about that and give some other ideas!
In no particular order:
Moon Hunters (Main game ~ 1.5 hours) - This is a co-op game you can play with Mal that is almost a "choose your own adventure" where there are a lot of different endings and playable characters you can unlock. This is a game that you could play for any amount of time needed because to "complete the game" I guess would be to unlock all the endings.
Frog Detective 1 (Main game ~ 40 minutes) - This is a cute indie game where you solve a mystery as a frog! Lots of opportunity for silly voices. There is also a sequel that is also about an hour in length.
Art Sqool (Maingame ~ 1.5 hours) - Play this with Mal, draw silly pictures, and try to pass "art school". That's all I will say.
Mini Metro - This would be a good game for First20, it is a relaxing game that is puzzle-like where you try to score points by building a train system for a city, there are a lot of levels that get increasingly difficult.
Faster than Light - Also good for First20, lead a spaceship on an escape mission traveling through the galaxy. (PLAY ON EASY) this game is fun but hard to actually "beat", there is a lot of RNG.
These are all available on Steam and if you don't have any of them let me know if any sound particularly interesting. I'd love to gift them to you to add to your streaming arsenal! Happy New Year!!

Hey Stephen!
I've been watching since 2013 and I've been a patron since last year, so I thought I would finally say hello. :)
Your vlogs & let's plays have been a huge source of comfort over the years. I'm glad to be supporting you and Mal and can't wait to see all that's coming down the pipeline and to make it to more streams!
I also wanted to add that I think the pie you were thinking of was a chocolate chess pie. It honestly tastes like someone just made a brownie into a pie. It's also a southern recipe.
Wishing all the best to you, Mal, and the kitties!
