The extension with the partner manager should be ending soon, but they may choose to even *further* extend their time with us. I'll know more this month (I didn't actually talk to them in December since they were out of the country). I agree, lots of people seemed to get hit harder with illness in the last few months. I had a lot of friends get sick in 2022. My suspicion is that everyone's immune systems are weakened, so hopefully that'll be a problem that solves itself in time. I'm not *too* worried about Mal's motion sickness because a typical livestream has less gameplay in it than one of our old recording sessions. (And the livestream has much longer breaks, too.) I'm hoping she'll be just fine! We had a wonderful holiday season and hope you had the same! We're both very excited to see what 2023 has to offer.

This means so much to me, thank you!! Your words are very representative of how I've been feeling, and it's nice that it's coming through the lens to everyone. Mal and I have such high hopes for 2023 based solely off of the last few months in Raleigh. Our December was lovely and the holidays were memorable. Hopefully the same for you, Lauren!

It’s been interesting to watch the journey over the year with shorts and memorable moments with all the experiments that have happened. It must be reassuring to know that the partner manager is keeping up with the rapid pace of youtube changes, even if it has lead to a defunct channel for the moment. How much longer do you have with them? I feel like the extension would be coming to an end soon. I do also wonder compared to others how much more of the advise you are enacting compared to others, I suspect it’s a space it is really easy to become anchored in what you do. The wedding vlog was amazing, it looked like a wonderful day. Mal’s speech was beautiful. I’m glad you are feeling better now Stephen, it looked pretty rough on you from the vlogs. I don’t know why but everything seems to be hitting people harder now that COVID is “calming down.” I don’t think it is only explained by people being less unwell during the years of the pandemic either. I’ve been loving the Extra Life segments, especially as I only got to about 90 minutes of it due to on call duties which made me sad on the day. Those future plans sound great, The Ultimate Earthbound Showdown! and Galaxy 2. Hopefully Galaxy won't cause too many issues with Mal's motion sickness that I remember her getting from the first one. This year feels like it has really flown by. I hope that you and Mal and everyone else has a wonderful Christmas and New Year. See you in 2023.

Watching the two of you settle into Raleigh, it's been clear that you are both thriving in a way that I don't think I've seen in the 18-ish months that I've been watching the vlog. I'm so happy for you, and so glad that you're taking all of us along for the ride. Happy December, and I hope you both stay well and get to enjoy all the parties and events that are coming up. :)
