But they're getting attacked on the genetic level! These cookies make mutants FAT! They're also exponentially addictive - just ask poor Kitty Pryde, if she can get free from Jubilee and Magik long enough to answer!
Meanwhile, Rogue the Calorie Sponge launches an X-Force team to do some Totally eSpyionage and get to the bottom of this... This Essex Corporation sounds AWFULLY FAMILIAR...
Oh, and uh... d-don't ask what Scott and Jean are doing.

The commissioner did provide me with a stable of characters, but I think the twist with this premise lets me breathe with this many characters in such a short chapter. Next up, on Saturday, we have my favorite part of the story to look forward to, the Kitty/Magik/Jubilee plot. Excelsior?
