Back on Track.
Added 2024-10-01 18:38:44 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Before we begin, I want to thank you all for your continued support and understanding. The past few days have been rough for me, but that roughness is still happening for a lot of folks in my area. Trees are down, some areas are still flooded, and a lot of homes and businesses are still without power, food, and/or gas.
Hurricane Helene really knocked the hell out of Appalachia and parts of the low-country. A favorite vacationing spot from when I was a kid was literally wiped off the map, and my partner is essentially trapped in another state for at least another week. Asheville is still flooded, and countless people have lost their homes across the Carolinas.
Thankfully, I was only without power for a few days. Outside of cold showers, eating Hormel Chili cold from a can, and having to break out a portable DVD player for the first time since 2005, my struggling was nothing compared to what so many people are going through.
And luckily, I write months ahead of time for occasions just such as this one.
You should not experience any delay in your Patreon goodies. While I unfortunately could not finish my Cicada Springs update last month, I at least got to give everyone a preview of what's in the pipeline for after Cicada Springs. I'll be roping it all together for the update at the end of this month.
I had planned on having this month be nothing but Chubtober prompts - I was working double time to try and get it all finished in time, but given the circumstances I was only able to get about 2/3 of it done before the sky opened itself upon us. Rather than cry over spilt milk, I'm just going to be publishing the first installment of two stories earlier.
I am encouraging you all to hug someone you love, and to keep the Carolinas in your hearts. I know that I write silly weight gain porn, but so many of the settings in my stories are based in real-life locations that were battered, beaten, and in some cases broken by this massive storm.
tl;dr - I'm okay, I have power, and I'm getting back on schedule. This month has been scheduled in advance, so you won't miss anything. Thank you for your continued support - it means the world to me now more than ever.

I appreciate it friend. There's still a lot of work to do in getting back to normal, but we'll get as close as possible. Thank you :)
