[BCU Bests] Life of Tara: Big Fat Nerd

The original Life of Tara was born out of a simple question - what if Tara had moved home instead of Haley?

That option got fully explored in the High-Calorie Collection over on writing.com in the form of an interactive story. Those are actually where I started writing this sort of thing in the first place - I've always loved branching options and using those options to explore the different ways that different characters can change the story.

The "Life Of" concept has evolved into several different pathways since then. There's so many Life of Haley stories, but there's also a Life of Dani story, a Life of Mackenzie story, and a budding Life of Mrs. West story now! All where those characters take the center stage and pack on the pounds.

This story is a direct result of that branching style of storytelling - branching off fairly early from the first chapter and then quickly spiraling into its own thing. Instead of becoming a waitress at Big Daddy's, in this story Tara becomes a big fat NEET who stays at home, plays video games, and lies to her mom about whether or not she's trying to find a job.

This story involves mild corruption, longform Nerd TF, and lots and lots of weight gain.

It also makes some guest appearances in the form of Riley from ILYBF and Becky from Coffeemates! I don't really consider this canon to their stories, but they played their parts well enough I think.
