Hello my friends! It's been a hell of a week for a lot of us in the southern states. There was a big winter storm that flew through here over the weekend, and it's left plenty of people snowed in.

Things are calming down in my area now, but after a big storm not too long ago, some of us are still pretty cagey about bad weather! Stay safe and stay warm, if you've been affected.

That being said, being snowed in has given me lots of time in my office - thus, let's make up for last month being a week late by giving y'all your update with some breathing room left in January.

We've got a lot to cover today, so let's hop to it.

Will I need to start a new game?
If you've saved on an indoor map, yes. If not, go save outside in town, and then transfer the save over.

Are there any known bugs?

What's Changed?

The Blueberry Frappuccino has finally been fixed. When you give it as a gift, it no longer remains in your inventory, and when you clear your inventory using methods like the trash can or developer's tools.

Several dead ends in the Gift line have been addressed and repaired. There will be a final once-over when it comes time to do the final text formatting.

There is now a gifting dialogue box that shows up when you give a gift to a character. This is to help players remember the items that they have given.

The Friendliness and Hungriness gauges have been removed from the interaction screen and now must be viewed in the new and improved Notes section (more on that below).

The Notes Section has received an overhaul, detailed as follows:

The tileset of each indoor map has recieved an upgrade.

There is now a new intro, using in-game graphics.

And finally, Bobo will now appear on the television in the player's apartment every Tuesday. Sometimes he'll give advice, other times he'll just say some shit.

I left the "switch" for this in the game by accident, but you can turn the TV on/off on any day just by interacting with the drawers on the player's desk. This feature has been removed on my end, but it made it into this port.

What's Next?

Charlie's Endings need to be rewritten (I don't like them)

The endings need to be stitched to the game proper (a process which I've started, but not completed)

And then a second "outro" scene at the end of 30 days needs to be written.

After that it's just editing, formatting, and crossing all my t's and dotting my i's.

I'm still tentatively planning for release in March/April. More on that will follow as we get closer to the time when I'm ready to release this beast.
