Weekly Update #5

It's that time of the week again. I'mma be real here, this one is goin' ta be short and suhweet since this is my day off and I wrote for like 15-17 hours straight yesterday.

I wouldn't really consider that red day last week a "day off" since I didn't actually write anything that day. Instead, that was one of those "AHH I NEED TO WRITE" days where I more or less felt existential dread all day, thus did not do anything fun because "I need to write and don't want to get distracted" despite not getting a single bit of writing done, but I did get a bunch of plotting and planning done. So while it is marked as a day off, it certainly was not a pleasant one.

Today was supposed to be my first "real" day off. And oh boy, it has just been such a fun day off. I'm writing this at 7pm. The notice on the front door said that workers would be working on the roof from 8am to 5pm every day for the entire month. So far, they have been working from 7am until 7pm making the loudest, most obnoxious roof work noises that I have ever heard in my life. Being directly hit by a hurricane was more peaceful than this. These guys are knocking clocks and paintings off the wall and have been making the entire apartment shake for over ten hours now. Oh, and sometimes they blast Mexican music. 

And apparently this is what the whole month is going to be like.

Fun.

I'm honestly considering screwing up my sleep schedule, which I just fixed, so that I'm up all night and sleeping all day because I don't know how I'm supposed to get into a creative groove when there's this much constant noise.

I have a headache.

$10 tier now is 14 chapters ahead. Yay! Technically, as of me writing this, it's only 13 chapters ahead (and $5 is only 6 ahead) since I didn't post anything today. I planned on writing one chapter before taking my day off, but then the workers happened, so I figured that I'd just wait until they were done so I could write in peace.

Anyways, I'll write two chapters for TTE tomorrow to post and then bank a third one so that I've always got somethin' to post so you're always the right amount ahead right away. Technically, as long as I post before 6pm EST tomorrow, you'll still be 7/14 chapters ahead. However, I would rather make it so that instead of for a few hours only being 5/13 ahead, you're 8/15 ahead. Does that make sense?

The True Endgame

Not really anything to say about TTE this week. It's goin' well. I wrote up an outline for the next 40 or so chapters, and I'm really hyped for what's coming up. It's kind of weird to get hyped for my own stuff. It makes me feel egotistical. Like, this is the same kind of hype I'd feel when a manga would get turned into an anime. I'd be like "OH MAN IT'S GOING TO BE SO AWESOME WHEN THEY ANIMATE X, JUST YOU GUYS WAIT UNTIL THEY SHOW Y!!!" Except the source material is my head and the anime is the web novel.

I really, really want to talk about it, but it would be spoilers ;~;.
