MMG Fifth Monday

Even a gyaru cyclops has her cute side!

“Haah? You want to what?” she asks, sitting atop her desk with her legs crossed. Between her loose socks, short skirt, and the school-supplied shirt she is wearing that has most of its buttons undone to reveal a copious amount of cleavage and the edges of her patterned bra, the bespectacled boy bowing to her doesn’t know what’s more catching: her clothes, brightly colored hair, the amount of makeup she’s wearing that almost matches of much skin she’s showing, or the fact that she only has a single eye.

“I – I want you to let me practice asking you – your… sister out!” the boy repeats himself, still bowing over and nervously staring at the floor with reddened cheeks as he waits for a proper answer.

“Seriously? You made me wait after class for such a lame question? You know my sis has like, millions of guys wanting to date her, right? She’d never waste her time on some nerd like you,” the cyclops girl says.

“But – but you’re her sister! So… you two must be alike, so you should know what would work!” he continues begging. Despite saying they must be alike, it should be clear to anybody who ever sees the sisters that such a thing could not be further from the truth. Abigail, the elder sister of the two cyclops girls, is renowned in school for being the most diligent, beautiful, proper lady that there is! With her long, black hair that reaches down to her waist, her body that is petite yet womanly, the kind and welcoming personality that she has around everybody, the ability to make anybody feel at ease around her – she could probably start a religion if she really wanted to. She already has enough fans that treat her as a goddess.

Then there is her younger sister, Melody – the girl currently swirling a lollipop around inside of her mouth while sitting atop a desk. She may only be younger by a year, but she is taller, far curvier, and she sticks out much more than her older sister does. They truly are complete opposites; even their personalities are different. Melody puts no effort into appearing proper nor feminine. Instead, most in the school assume she either works the corner outside of school or sleeps around with her teachers. Yet, despite the rumors surrounding Melody and how she dresses, her presence is the just as opposite as everything else when it comes to her sister.

Everybody in school knows and loves Abigail, but Melody may as well be invisible the majority of the time.

“You know you’re not the first to try and get to my sis through me, right?” Melody asks, switching her legs around and popping the lollipop out of her mouth. “What was your name again anyways?”

“Ch-Charlie, and – and I know that I’m not the first, but I still want to practice with you, so please help me!” Charlie pleads.

“God, your begging is so gross. You expect her to give somebody as spineless as you a chance?”

“That’s why I want you to help me!”

“Tch,” Melody cocks her head and groans, “what do I get out of it? You don’t seriously expect me to help you if I’m not getting anything, right?”

“Whatever you want! I’ll do anything if you help me, so please.”

“Seriously, like, you need to stop with the begging. I get it, you’re pathetic. You don’t have to keep proving it,” she says before groaning again. “I’ll have you owe me one, 'kay?”

“Deal! I’ll owe you whatever you want!”

“Alright. Now, show me what you can do.”

“H-huh?”

“Ask me out. Come on, Charles.”

“It’s – it’s Charlie.”

“Charlie, Charles – whatever. Just ask me out,” Melody says, tapping her right foot against the air.

Her bouncing her leg occasionally gives Charlie glimpses of the patterned underwear beneath her skirt, and that only makes him blush and stutter even more.

“O-ok, umm, will – will you go out with me?” Charlie asks.

“Woah, that was like, even worse than I thought it’d be. You’re like, seriously lame,” Melody says.

“What can I do better?”

“Everything.”

“How would… if a guy was asking you out, what would you want him to say?”

“I’d want him to have some balls for one. What good is a guy without any nuts? You need to drop yours before you ever have a chance with a girl.” Melody sighs and looks at him. He looks like he’s about to cry, so she lets out an even louder sigh and hops off from the desk. “I swear if you cry I’m telling my sister all about how lame you are. Anyways, I guess… I’d want him to be swe—badass. You know, like wearing black leather, spiked hair, a cigarette in one hand and a barbed bat in his other hand – stuff like that. I’d just want him to pin me against the wall and tell me I’m his now, but I doubt that’d work on my sis.”

Charlie hangs his head low with drooped shoulders, a look of pure defeat showing on his face.

“Hey, why do you look so down? I said that wouldn’t work on my sis anyways, so it doesn’t matter if you could never do any of that,” Melody says.

“I guess I never had a chance in the first place. I’m – I’m nothing like that, and… I don’t think I could ever pretend to be like that,” Charlie says followed by a defeated sigh.

“I told you—”

Their teacher walks into the room. He is a tall, muscular man that most of the girls who are in his class are obsessed with. When Charlie looks at his teacher, he sees a man that could probably get any girl that he wants. Charlie wishes he could be more like him.

But right now, he just feels angry and depressed knowing of the rumors surrounding the teacher and Melody.

“Am I disturbing something or are you ready?” the teacher asks.

“I’m ready, teach,” Melody says before returning her attention to Charlie. “I helped you as much as I could, so get lost already.”

Without saying a single word, Charlie slumps over and walks out of the classroom. He hears the teacher close the door as soon as he’s gone.

Everybody knows the rumors. Supposedly, the only reason why Melody isn’t behind by several grades is because of what she does with teachers behind closed doors to get good grades.

Charlie’s imagination runs wild with depressing thoughts of what the two are doing now that he’s gone.

Part of him hates himself for not just being able to be honest and tell her whom he truly loves.

His friends all laughed at him when he confessed his secret to them. The girl that Charlie is in love with is not Melody’s sister, but Melody herself.

“You serious bro? You two would never work. I mean, just look in the mirror! You’re some short guy with a goblin ass face and giant glasses, and she’s – I mean, you know, she’s Melody. I know your only chance of losing your virginity is with a hooker, but you’d never be able to actually date one unless you get rich and let her dig you for some gold.”

That was what his best friend told him.

“She’s not that kind of girl, I can’t believe that,” Charlie says to himself as he walks through the school’s halls.

There is only one way to tell if that’s true or not.

If it is true, it is better to discover it now than later.

Mustering all of the courage that he can find, Charlie clenches his fists and heads back to the classroom.

He sneaks up along the wall keeping his back to it and ear pressed against it, trying to listen in on what’s happening.

Unfortunately, all he hears are muffled voices.

The only way to hear more clearly would be to open the door, but there’s no way that he can do that. It would give him away without a doubt. Therefore, he’ll just have to try and peek in through the door’s window.

Charlie crouches behind the door and slowly, ever so slowly, lifts his head up until he can just barely see through the window.

What he sees is a Melody slouching over a desk with the eraser end of a pencil in her mouth, specialized monoeye glasses on, and the teacher sitting across from her explaining what appears to be a math formula to her.

Charlie always knew that those rumors couldn’t have been true. One, the school probably would have investigated it given how popular the rumors are and figured out whether it is true or not, and two… whenever Charlie took quick peeks at her in class, when she thought nobody was paying attention, he saw just how hard she was trying.

Melody pulls on her hair while leaning back to the point of almost falling out of her seat. Her glasses slip off of her face now that her head is upside-down, but more importantly, she’s looking in Charlie’s direction.

Charlie ducks down and runs down the hall! He’s not sure if she saw him or not, but—

“Get back here right now!” Melody shouts as she chases after him.

Alright, she definitely saw him.

“I’m sorry! I didn’t see anything!” Charlie shouts.

“Like hell you didn’t!” Melody shouts as she quickly catches up.

“I won’t tell anybody, I promise!” Charlie shouts back, his voice struggling as he’s already out of breath and wheezing.

Rather than shout back at him, Melody dives forward, crashes into his back, and knocks him over!

When Charlie opens his eyes, he notices that he’s lying on his back and Melody is straddling his chest with her hands gripping the collar of his shirt. Her face is showing an expression that he has never seen from her before. She looks flushed from her cheeks to the tips of her ears, and that single, beautiful eye of hers is quivering as she looks ready to cry either out of anger or embarrassment at any second.

“You. Will. Not. Tell anybody about what you saw. Do I make myself clear?” Melody says.

“I – why… why don’t you want people to know?” Charlie asks.

“Answer the question! Do I make myself clear or don’t I?” she asks, shaking him around.

It takes a lot of willpower for Charlie to not look between her legs due to her upturned skirt, and the size of her breasts doesn’t help being able to see her face when beneath her.

Charlie gulps and takes a deep breath. “I promise I won’t tell anybody… if you tell me why you don’t want anybody to know,” he proposes. Internally, he’s already regretting saying anything instead of just agreeing to her demands.

Melody’s grip on his shirt tightens. “Fine! Just – just don’t you tell a single soul what you saw!”

Charlie blinks a few times. Did – did she really just agree to it?

Before his brain has a chance to process what’s happening, Melody is lifting him up onto his feet and dragging him away to an empty classroom.

She pushes him inside and slams the door shut behind them, locking it and closing the blinds as well.

“You – I’m sorry, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to. I promise I won’t tell anybody anything,” Charlie says. He feels guilty now that he sees just how nervous and embarrassed she looks.

“Shut up. A deal is a deal,” Melody says.

Neither of them says anything for a few minutes. Instead, they both just awkwardly stand in silence.

They open their mouths to speak at the same time, but Melody’s voice overpowers his own.

“I don’t want anybody to know because then I’ll just be known as some dumb little sister who tries but still fails, and they’ll know – they’ll know I’m just pretending,” Melody explains.

“What are you talking about?” Charlie asks.

“You know what I’m talking about! This! All of this… how I’m dressing, all of this makeup, how I act… if they know I’m pretending then I’ll – I’ll be even more invisible than I already am.”

Charlie’s eyes open wide when he realizes just what exactly she’s talking about, and it proves to him that everything he has believed about her is true.

“Even you – you only came to me to get to my sister just like everybo—”

“That’s not true! I – I’m sorry, I lied to you earlier,” Charlie confesses. “Your sister is beautiful, and really smart, and proper, and she’s like the perfect woman, but… I don’t like her. I’ve – I’ve… I’ve loved you ever since I saw you during the opening ceremony,” he says, his face bright red and body shaking in fear of her response. “That’s why I was asking what kind of confession you’d like and got really sad from your answer.”

“Shut up,” Melody says. “You don’t get to say all that about my sister and then say you love me instead. You just said she’s perfect and then said you like me instead. What’s up with that? What, do you think I’m like, an easier target or something? Do you believe the rumors and think I’ll spread my legs for you for a few bucks?”

“No! That’s – that’s not it! I promise. It’s just… I felt connected to you ever since I saw you. Also… I know how you feel. My brother is a lot older, but he’s always been super popular and always got all the attention. I’m short, ugly, not good at sports, I’m average when it comes to grades, and I’ve never even held a girl’s hand before. I’ve always been invisible next to him.”

“So you just like me because you think we’re the same?” Melody asks, her voice sounding annoyed.

“That’s not what I’m saying! I mean, it’s part of it, but… I’ve just always thought you were really pretty, your eye is beautiful, I’ve seen you pay attention in class and look at people with concern whenever they were fighting, and there was that time when a stray cat was outside and—”

“You saw that?!” Melody shouts, standing in front of him once more with her hands around the collar of his shirt. “I made sure nobody was around! How do you know about that?!”

“I told you, I know how it feels to be invisible.”

Melody sets him down and takes a few steps back. “Do… do you really think all of that about me?” she asks.

Charlie takes his backpack off and pulls a notebook out of it. He knows that once he shows her this that there is no turning back, but she told him earlier that a man is going to need balls if he wants to impress her, so it’s time to have some balls.

He opens the notebook and holds it out to her.

When she looks at its contents, she sees various sketches of her from class, walking in the hall, eating lunch, and a certain scene of when she was playing with a cat outside. Not only are the pictures incredibly detailed and drawn with professional talent, but none of them look sexualized. He could easily go into realistic detail with how slutty she dresses, but instead, he draws her wearing the sorts of dresses and clothes that she herself wishes she had the courage to wear in public.

Sure, she’s kind of creeped out from just how many pictures he’s drawn of her, but at the same time, she can’t help but tear up knowing that he finds such beauty in her.

“Please go out with me!” Charlie asks with his hands on her shoulders, trying his best to emulate what she explained earlier, but this is as far as he can go.

Yep, this is the end of his school life. She’s going to reject him, tell everybody everything, and everybody is going to think that he is some creepy stalker obsessed with her. He’ll lose his friends, teachers will give him bad grades because they think he’s a menace to society, his friends will abandon him, and—

“Fine,” Melody says.

What?

Huh?

Charlie looks at her and blinks a few times.

“What did you say? I – I think I mishear—” Charlie starts asking, but gets interrupted when Melody presses her lips against his.

His entire body is burning red at this point as he stares at her like a confused deer.

“Don’t – don’t look at me like that. Isn’t that what boyfriends and girlfriends supposed to do?” Melody asks, bashfully looking away but occasionally peeking at him with her single eye to check on his reaction.

“Are we – does that mean… wait, did you say yes? You – you didn’t reject me?” Charlie asks.

“The hell do you think?!” Melody shouts, grabbing him by his shirt’s collar again. “I already said fine and then I even gave you my first kiss! Of course it means I said yes… after everything you told me, and all those pictures you showed me, you better take responsibility, understand? I’m going to tell everybody you’re a creep and stalker if you don’t.”

Despite essentially being blackmailed, Charlie has a huge smile on his face as he wraps his arms around her for a tight hug!

“I will! I’ll take responsibility!” Charlie declares. “I’ll never let you down!”

“You better not… and no telling anybody about what you saw, no being clingy around other people, and just pretend like we don’t even know each other in public. Understand?” Melody asks.

Charlie happily nods his head.

“Give me your phone,” she demands.

He hands his phone over. She returns it a few seconds later with a new contact in it – her.

“Just text me if you ever want to talk while we’re in public, okay?” Melody says.

“Got it!” Charlie agrees.

And so begins the relationship of a fake-gyaru cyclops girl and her short artist of a boyfriend.

The only downside to all of it is that she tore out the picture of her playing with a cat and burned it.
