Weekly Update #33 (Important stuff regarding today and potentially tomorrow at top)

Alright, to get to the point regarding today and tomorrow since most people don't read through the whole weekly update: there likely won't be any new chapters out today and potentially tomorrow because I'm going to be revising close to 90 chapters of EDE for Royal Road.I'll go through these as quickly as I can, but I seriously need to get them done. EDE is 4 days away from being 30 days old on RR and still only has those first 20 chapters out. So, my plan is to revise all the chapters, and then schedule them so that they are releasing once an hour for about 3-4 days straight. It's basically going to be at the top of new releases non-stop for a few days. On top of that, it'd be awesome if more people could go and review/rate/follow/favorite the story ( https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21029/ero-dungeon-evolution-rr-edition )! You don't have to type a review yourself if you don't want to, but every single rating helps with Trending, so I appreciate the ratings. Another huge way to help is to just upvote/downvote the reviews you either agree with or disagree with.

Aside from that, I'll also try finalizing the website to finally start sharing that link, and I'm going to be revising the Patreon a bit. No changes to the tiers (other than the change I already made to increase the total amount of ahead chapters everybody gets), but I just want to make things a bit neater looking.

But yeah, once I'm done with this post, I'm going to take my puppers out and then get to the tedious task of revising... save me.

The True Endgame

I said a whole bunch about each story last week, so I probably won't be saying much this week. All I really have to say is something that several people have brought up either on Discord or in the RR comments by now. No, (Ny)Aiko's story isn't over. You'll hear more about her eventually. As for when, I'm not going to make any promises, but it will happen. All I can say for now is that there's a reason why nothing has been brought up about her, and it's not because none of the cast care about her.

Ero Dungeon Evolution

Hey, the dungeon actually got some screen time.

If and when I revise this for self-publishing, I should probably throw in some more dungeon-y stuff. And evolution-y stuff.

I mean, I love the name for this story. It's something I'm stupidly proud of and probably my favorite title out of all my stories. But... yeah, it kind of puts a huge emphasis on the dungeon and evolution parts. Hell, not even the ero has that much of a major focus.

But yeah. Trending should be soon. Some more ratings and voting on the reviews there would be seriously appreciated. The story almost had 2k followers in 30 days in its original run. Now, it's got about 160 in 26 days. That's partly my fault for not updating it more frequently, but that's what these next couple of days are to help fix. Also, I didn't want to get too many ratings too soon. I want the story to actually stick on Trending for a bit. So, please rate it<3

Steel Glory

Yikes, only one chapter last week. I'll do at least two this week, though.

Also, it made it onto Trending, and then fell off of Trending just as quickly. This story really "flopped" on Royal Road, and even among current readers, it doesn't seem that popular. If anything, people just like it for the moments involving Naomi.

Which is absolutely understandable because Naomi is precious.

Anyways, not going to drop it, but I'm probably only going to post it 2 or 3 times a week at most.

Re: Wan

While Steel Glory has more or less flopped, this story seems pretty damn liked amongst most of you. Quite a few of you have already told me that this is your new favorite story of mine.

Hopefully, it translates well to Royal Road and brings in those followers (and patrons) >:^).

On another note, the story has ended up being gorier than I thought it would be. Seriously gorier.

But Royal Road loves gore, so that works out in my favor.

I'll probably post this to RR either later today or tomorrow. First... I need to come up with an actual name for it. I'll ask for suggestions later.

In Closing

aaaggghhhhh i am so tired. I was writing those 6 chapters of woof from 4pm-4am, so then I only got about 2 1/2 - 3 hours of sleep. I'm going to go make some coffee after taking my dogs out, then I'll do a thing for woof's name, and then I'll be done spamming Patreon for the day so that I can go subject myself to the hell that is revising EDE to be RR-friendly.
