Weekly Update #88

Good week. Every single chapter was longer than average, some significantly so, and I feel that they were also all pretty good chapters.

Also, I forgot I was supposed to do the PDFs and update. I would normally be sleeping right now, but I wanted to do these before going to sleep, so I stayed up... and then forgot I was supposed to do these. I knew that I was up to do something but had no idea what. So, I'm exhausted, and there's not really much to say for individual stories this week, so this is going to be one of those lazy weekly updates.

15 hours, 24,161 words. More hours and more words \o/. Progress with my new project is going pretty well, and I already love the dynamic going on between the MC and main waifu, so I'm looking forward to when that eventually gets posted.

The True Endgame

I'm already out of things to say and this is only the first sentence.

I guess I could mention something I brought up briefly on Discord. Regarding the real world of TTE, it went through some major climate shit and is kind of beginning to cope with that and bounce back. However, I haven't really gone much into detail regarding that. I think, with the revised self-published edition, there'll be just a little bit more detail on the projects that the world is starting up, maybe the effects on the economy/politics, etc. I'm also kind of imagining it as basically building up to an almost solarpunk-like setting.

Ero Dungeon Online

Seeing as how EDO and TTE are the same universe now, and pretty much all of my VR stories are going to be in this same universe - actually, yeah, let's just talk about that instead of actually talking about EDO since I have nothing to say other than that - well, it would be spoilers, so I can't say it.

Anyways, TTE and EDO are in the same universe. I plan on all of my VR stories taking place in the same universe that I'm crafting and have been coming up with more worldbuilding ideas for lately. It's always going to be more in the background and just there to flavor the real life moments, but there world will be consistent, you'll see characters from the series popping up outside of their respective series, etc. So, for now, all the actual VR games are planned to be pretty fantasy, but the world itself will be moving into this sort of almost utopian solarpunk phase that is much more technologically advanced and peaceful than the modern world. The world got pretty grimdark for a while, which I also plan on reflecting better in these series, but now it's on the upswing toward noblebright.

The Queen's Hound

Free readers for the Zurie and Woofen talkin' in a bath tub chapter this week and I still haven't checked the comments because I'm sure at least a few of them will be silly, and not the good kind of silly. We'll see how many are still around after the next chunk of chapters.

inb4 more edgelords whine about communism. I already got a tiny bit of that just from the first chapter with Isaac.

I'm looking forward to CORE chapters where Daddy CORE is basically having massive philosophical debates with people, just non-stop back-and-forth exchanging of thoughts and ideas and arguments and ugh.

why am i getting so excited about acting smart by writing about a sentient rock discussing ethics and government and morals and all that
