Unlike their wildtype counterparts, Tailor Mimics are fairly intelligent, amenable to communication via their telepathic abilities, and sometimes even rather amicable, even though they remain self-interested. Therefore, it is quite possible for someone to reason with and persuade a Tailor Mimic that there are better options for its survival and reproduction than its typical methods.
