Weekly (Mini) Update #154 (Somewhat important)

The somewhat important part to save you time: wrist was fucked on Friday, got second covid shot on Saturday, have now been sick all day because the side effects of the second shot. I've felt like I've had an intense hangover ever since I woke up, the right side of my face hurts and sight out of my right eye is blurry, and all my muscles are sore. Yay. At least now I shouldn't die from Covid or anything considering I was at risk due to asthma and have a history of pneumonia and weak as fuck lungs and stuff. Anyways, my point is that I apologize for no TTE nor LDQ because I feel like utter shit. I feel bad for not writing them, and I've been trying to on and off throughout the day, but I just can't write when my head is in this state. If it was just my body being sore and in pain then it'd be no problem, but the think-y part that comes up with ideas is the part that's the most fucked at the moment.

That aside, assuming that I hopefully feel better tomorrow, I'm going to dedicate this week to getting the next 8 chapters of The Dungeon Hound done. I just want to get them done in a spree rather than try to write an extra amount on top of everything else in the week. So, similar to when I paused my other stories to get CORE's advance chapters finished for a week a while ago, I'll be doing that.

I apologize for the inconvenience (especially since there was no TTE/LDQ this week), but I'm going to prioritize getting these TDH chapters done so that I can finally post the series to RR and SH. Once these 8 chapters are done, TDH will have 10 properly-sized advance chapters for when RR/SH gets caught up on the short chapters, and then I don't have to deal with the stress of needing to try and fit in writing extra chapters on top of everything else in a week.

I'll probably end up doing the same thing with the unnamed tentacle story sometime next month. So, get TDH published to RR/SH this month, then get the tentacle story published next month. Once that's done for both of these series, I'll be able to relax and stop stressing out over the feeling of needing to get all the advance chapters done, and my schedule should be able to normalize again. No more procrastinating because my mind does this stupid thing where, the more work I know that I have to do, the harder I procrastinate. Since starting both of these series, my mind has basically had the constant thought of, "Shit, I seriously need to write 30 chapters per story before I can post them to RR/SH," and that's been making me procrastinate like mad. Hence why the posting schedule has been all over the place lately.

Alright. That's all for now. Thank you for putting up with me. I'm going to go watch a movie with my mum now because that's about all I can do plus it's still mother's day. I hope that your week has been fine, and I hope that none of you have to feel this way after you get any of your covid shots, if you do get them.
