First look at "Charity Suit" Ha1ley!

I know I have been absent for a while now, but there's a good reason for that: I was speed-building two completely new suits! Let's start with the first one today: Ha1ley (or Hailey) the "charity suit"!

Long story short (long version below), my client basically got scammed by their maker. They initially asked me to refurb their head they got, but when I saw this lost cause, I refused. I felt so sorry for them when I heard their story, that I offered to make them a completely new head (and paws and tail as a surprise) for material price. The suit will be delivered to the client next week, so stay tuned for the unboxing video! Also we'll probably take a bunch of pics of Ha1ley and Akushi together, so look forward to that!

Long version of the story, feel free to skip:
My client commissioned a fullsuit of their fursona Ha1ley in 2018 and paid it in full in 2019. Since then they waited. They got very few updates and only when they asked for them. Then eventually a head was finished- and then traded away for a skully. Yes, you read that right, the maker traded away a COMMISSION, meaning somewhere out there a Ha1ley clone is walking around without the owners consent. That first head also looked way better than what ended up with my client. Fast forward to 2025, the new head finally makes it to the client- and it looks terrible. Colours don't match, fur lenghts make no sense, it doesn't look like a cat at all. The suit has open seams everywhere and paint stains on both ears. The head is so tiny you can barely put it on. Once you managed, your eyes tear up, most likely from some paint, clear coat or other chemicals used on the eyes. All things considered- a total desaster. All the other suit parts still missing, nowhere near the fullsuit they ordered. When the client approached me to commission a refurb (we where already mutuals by then), I was postitive it was doable at first, but the more flaws where pointed out to me the less a refurb made any sense. It was a lost cause. As a small fursuit maker who tries their best to do everything right and please my clients, I was infuriated. I just couldn't let that injustice go. So I offered to make a new fursuit head for material price. The client was overwhelmed with joy and I assured them it was okay. In my eyes, they waited so long, they deserved a wearable fursuit head that resembles their character as closely as possible.
And here we are now! I'm very proud of the suit and I know the client will absolutely love it once it's revealed!
